INTAN JAYA - The Infantry Battalion Task Force Raider 509/Balawara Yudha Kostrad, an integral part of the TNI HABEMA Operation Command, continues its mission under the RI-PNG Border Mobilization Operation in Intan Jaya District, Central Papua Province. On Friday, January 10, 2025, the 509 Task Force, led by First Lieutenant Muh. Fardhana, conducted a Social Communication (Komsos) initiative with the residents of Bilogai Village, Sugapa District, while carrying out a routine security patrol.
Fostering Connections and Ensuring Security
The Commander of the 509 Task Force, Lieutenant Colonel Dian Dessiawan Setyadi, highlighted the critical role of the Task Force in addressing the needs of the communities near their posts. As part of their efforts, the soldiers combined their security patrols with direct interaction and dialogue with the residents of Bilogai Village. “We aim to ensure that our presence here brings tangible benefits. Beyond safeguarding stability, we strive to foster close relationships with the community. This small gesture reflects our commitment to their welfare, ” stated 1LT Fardhana.

During the visit, a spirit of camaraderie filled the air as soldiers and villagers exchanged updates. Residents reported that the security situation in Bilogai Village had been calm and stable. One of the villagers, Mama Yohana, expressed her heartfelt gratitude: “The TNI’s presence has made us feel safe and valued. Their care and attention have truly touched our hearts. Thank you for everything.”

Brigadier General Lucky Avianto, Commanding General of HABEMA, praised the 509 Task Force for its proactive approach. “The Social Communication initiative reflects the TNI’s commitment to fostering inclusive engagement with all stakeholders in its operational areas.
